PREMIER trainers David and Scott Brunton are confident their three-year-old Hellova Street has the makings of a top class galloper.
Hellova Street notched his third win from only seven starts when he led his rivals a merry chase in a strong class two handicap over 1400 metres at Tattersall's Park in Hobart on Sunday.
The gelding was impressive in winning the $50,000 3YO Classic in Launceston last month when first-up from a 4-1/2 month spell defeating his stablemate Havana Stash, a race in which he also led throughout.
He had his colours lowered at his subsequent outing in Launceston when second to Miss Elsa over 1220m.
The gelded son of Helike-Butter Street relished the step up to 1400 metres and trainer Scott Brunton said there are expectations of the gelding running out a strong 1600 metres or more.
