WELL BRED three-year-old Ineptocracy (God's Own-Lekitama) scored an impressive debut win at Tattersall's Park in Hobart today to signal his arrival as a potential multiple winner in the future.

With premier jockey Brendon McCoull in the saddle, Ineptocracy showed early speed to lead from his wide gate and McCoull found the best going down the back stretch to allow his charge to hold a decent advantage to the home turn.

When McCoull called on the gelded son of God's Own to deliver the knockout blow the gelding answered all the challenges and went on to score comfortably over his stablemate and race favourite Acacia Bloom.

The David and Scott Brunton-trained gelding is the second foal of former star sprinter-miler Lekitama that won a Listed Vamos Stakes over 1400m and was laced in the Group 3 Bow Mistress the same season.
